Greg Ellis is a line backer for the Dallas Cowboys, and after suffering an achilles tendon injury that almost ended his career, he came back in 2007 and won the 'NFL comeback player of the year' award and also made it to the probowl in 2008. Greg Ellis attributes his suffering in the NFL as God's purpose in his life and give God the glory for his returned success. See his interview here:
